What will happen to the United Kingdom’s Gold Reserves?

The UK’s gold reserves are 310 tons and is the 18th largest in the world and are worth £7.84 billion.

What happen to the gold held it if Scotland votes yes on the 18th of September?

UK gold ReserveA spokesman for the UK Treasury department confirmed that if Scotland does vote yes it would be followed by negotiations between Edinburgh and London over a number of joint assets including gold.

Perhaps it will be traded agains the Scots share of the national debt.
